I like your article and candid comments on coaching at the college level. My experience has been that if you drill down on why someone wants to coach at the college level, sometimes the answer is not sound. Some guys just don't have an accurate picture of what it really looks like (beyond the pay.) An example of that is the "salesman" that many college coaches must be that is part of their job.

Just wanted to give my opinion on the whole issue with the Alabama/LSU game Saturday and what I have heard over and over since then. About that reviewed (non interception) play. The guys foot was clearly on the line and the interception was not made. Replay is great but why do we have to listen to all the people complain when the video evidence is obvious. SIMMS, Texas—Colby McCullough ran for 273 yards and four touchdowns Friday night as James Bowie secured the third playoff spot in District 17-A by outscoring Detroit, 66-36.

We are picked by 30 at home tomorrow night in a MUST WIN situation. Win and we are in. Last time we were picked by 30 at home this year, we blew a 12 point halftime lead. Homefield Advantage hasn't been as sweet this year.
