Two former C.H.A. M.P.S. athletes were on this team; one of whom is my son who hit a double in the 8th inning and ultimately scored the winning run!

The MSBL/MABL World Series Tournaments are held in Phoenix Arizona every year and is the world’s largest amateur baseball tournament drawing teams and players from all over the country.
C.H.A.M.P.S. Press Release – The Atlanta Astros, Norcross, GA. Coached by Mr. Marty Kelly, won the 2009 MSBL World Series by defeating a team from California, in a 9 inning nail biter. The Astros took an early 1 to nothing lead only to have the game tied up by a home run from their opponents. The game stayed tied through the eight inning when the Astros rocked a double and the lead off batter drove in the winning run. The Astros closer held the opponents scoreless winning the game and the 2009 World Series Title.

Congratulations to the Atlanta Astros on a job well done!
