Athens State University graduate with certifcation in Social Science and Secondary Education. I have several years of coaching experience at the High School level.

During my college experience I have found that many students have intentions of coaching upon completion of their educational requirements. However, I have also found that many do not possess a very good grasp of coaching at the high school level, and certainly not at the collegiate level. Some of these young men have coached, and some have never even played the sport. In either case, both classifications need to develop a basic knowledge of coaching the game. Therefore, we have created the PROGRESSIVE COACHES ORGANIZATION which works to help young coaches and college age students who intend to coach to develop a better understanding and obtain more knowledge about coaching specific sports.
