I have offered a a catcher, a pitcher, and an "athlete"--the most athletic player on our list. I plan on offering a our 4th spot to another "athlete"--someone strong, fast, who can hit, and play lots of positions. I am going to hold off on the 4th spot till the end of October. At that time, I will know if any of the other 3 have accepted. So I will offer to a bunch of kids for however many spots I still need to fill. But I will do it for 1 pitcher, 1 catcher, and 2 athletes. Whoever accepts first at that point, we will sign. I will offer in the order that I have them ranked. I want to be done with all my scholarship kids at the early signing period. I've had so many 2010 kids show interest it's incredible. I am hearing from new kids everyday, but I am pretty set on our top 10.

As for pitchers--I have heard from a lot of kids, but it has been tough to evaluate them and gauge their interest. We got one kid, but I am still trying to get one more. I'll tell ya more about it when I see you.......

Any luck with the Clarion job? How far is Connellsville from Wheeling? Alright, I am getting ready to leave bud.....

The Stefano girl has emailed me a # of times. I have called and left messages for Cassie and sent emails, but she has not replied at all. We are going to offer 4 kids--I've already offered 3. Does she still have an interest?

You don't happen to know anyone that's out at the Colorado Sparkler do you? I had 2 pitchers from Cal. contact me and they are both playing in Colorado this week--I need to find someone out there that can watch them.

What is the address to the Pa. forum? I want to make a post about our summer camp.

I still have a rather large scholarship available for a pitcher who is a 2009 grad or transfer with release or juco/CC player if anyone is still looking for a school. Depending upon academics (gpa/test scores), I may be able to cover a significant portion of our tuition, which is $33,000. Our health sciences program is extremely strong--nursing, nuclear med, respiratory therapy, physical therapy, athletic training. We are a D2 school in WV, located 1 mile from Ohio, and 10 miles from PA. I am looking for solid prospect who can come in and compete for a spot in the rotation.
