Hi Bill
Thanks for welcoming me. I will pass the word onto the other members of our coaches association in Maine as I am the President. My wife is the President of the softball association in Maine also.
One of the big reasons for me joining, aside from wanted to be involved with other coaches across the country, is that I am looking to find a job back in college baseball, coaching somewhere. I appreciate all your help with this site and look forward to being an active member.
Have a great day and happy holidays.
Mike

Hey Bill, Excellent website. I'm a rookie coach been around the IAFL same league as Darrin O'Toole's team here in Ireland. Been in the League as Player for pushing on 6 years now. Got into to coaching the last 12 months. The team I coach has plenty of talent but is a development team so not in the full senior league in the IAFL. But it is a huge University with top facilities and the College are looking after us very well especially considering the sport is treated as a minor sport. Future is bright. 6-2 in our first season in the development league consisting of 6 teams total including ourselves and Darrin's Trinity. He wasn't coaching them though. Excellent website Nice work.

Yea I've heard about the drama. I must say that I'm glad it was handled the way it was. Some people thrive on that kind of stuff, and that's never good for a team. I miss softball everyday. Probably always will. I'm happy to hear that things are looking good for this year. I've talked to some of the girls and told them how they are in excellent shape, despite losing people from last year.
I do security for PNC. I work in the main building downtown.

I came back to coachbook because I was looking for that Iron Woman video that you had up last season. Out of boredom/curiosity mostly. But I ultimately want to work in the Fitness industry, (broad, I know... But it has taken this long to narrow it down to that lol) whether it be personal training, fitness modeling, owning a gym, being a professional athlete, or any combination of them all. So I figured that if nothing else, this site can help me to stay in touch with you, and possibly serve as a networking tool for the industry.

Whew, what a mouthful. Lol

Hello, We ended up 4-8 overall and lost in the 1st round of the playoffs. I'll network, mostly interested in finding playbooks and compliments to the flexbone that we run. I also am looking to make a career move and become a HC so I would also love to implement some gun option, mainly Tony Demeo style. If you can help thanks in advance.

Hi Coach,I'm a born n bred Irishman, who found football about 10 years back and have been hooked since.Football in Ireland is really in it's infancy,it's treated like rugby over there as a minority sport. But in saying that our top teams would be slightly below a D3 standard and the level of coaching is constantly improving.Looking forward to Florida,IFAF are flying us in for a 3 day convention beforehand so I cant wait!I heard last years was excellent!

Thanks Bill.

We are still playing. Just had our quarter final game last Friday. Won 42-0. We are currently ranked in the top 10 of most of the national sites (ESPN Rise, Maxpreps, USA Today, Rivals). We are going for our 4th state championship in a row. Thanks.
