Hi Coach,

No I played at B-W for a couple of years before my athletic ability caught up with me. I spent my Junior year interning part time with the Browns and this past fall I coached @ Valley Forge High School in Parma, Ohio. It was a big time learning experience, I got to do some actual coaching, scouting, and gameplanning which I absolutely loved. I thought about student coaching but I wanted to get some more hands on experience and not just be a glorified equipment manager. Although I would have been a glorified equipment manager on the college level.....

Love the site, keep it up

Hey Coach Vasko. How are you doing? I actually had a question for you. What was your experience like with Ohio State when you were an undergraduate assistant?

Right now i coach at the hs level but I'm also attending school at BGSU, currently a sophomore.

Hi bill, well firstly thank's for the pic comment , well my personal trainer is ok, but i fell like i like to dedicate totally to work with kids and teens that's why i'm trying to be just a coach.
I used compipte on duathlons , biking add running but my best was springs, especially 100 mts ..

It's like you told me a while back...Kenyon, is a little bit different...and it gets to me a bit...but, for the most part it's not bad. Haven't had much time to do anything around Mt. Vernon, but then again there isn't much to do anyways...I have enjoyed a few trips to Columbus though. It's just some of the kids here are well, yeah...you know, you coached here...I'll just use the word difficult to get them to understand they are wrong, a lot, but they seem to always blame something other than themselves. Which probably falls back on the rich kid mentality....

How's softball training coming?

Bill, my next disabled competition hasn't been officially scheduled yet. It's going to be sometime in March or April. But, my trainer wants to get me in an able-bodied competition sometime before then. I think he wants me in a federation up in Erie, PA. Don't know all the details yet. He's in the middle of trying to close on a loan to buy the gym, so he hasn't officially signed me up yet. But I'll definitely keep you posted.
