Atlanta Astros Win 2009 MSBL World Series Phoenix, AZ

Phoenix, Arizona October 25th, 2009 – The Atlanta Astros, Norcross, GA. Coached by Mr. Marty Kelly, won the 2009 MSBL World Series by defeating a team from California, in a 9 inning nail biter. The Astros took an early 1 to nothing lead only to have the game tied up by a home run from their opponents. The game stayed tied through the eight inning when the Astros rocked a double and the lead off batter drove in the winning run. The Astros closer held the opponents scoreless winning the game and the 2009 World Series Title.

The MSBL/MABL World Series Tournaments are held in Phoenix Arizona every year and is the world’s largest amateur baseball tournament drawing teams and players from all over the country.
